The Surfer and the Merman CH 29
Skye awoke for the second time that night. Even with his eyes now open, it didn't help because it was too dark to see. He felt the ropes around his body that bound him, but he was still too dazed from the drug to panic. His droopy head turned from side to side as he tried to take in his surroundings. Judging by the darkness and the sound of the waves, Skye could tell that he was indoors and on the water. But most importantly, he was alone.
With his legs the only part of his body that was free, Skye was able to rise to his feet. The young man's eyes finally adjusted and was surprised to see that everything in the room was modern. Even though
